When you attach one or more PDFs to a Gmail message and click Send, Libertify intercepts the send and opens a dialog asking which attachments you'd like to turn into Libertify video experiences. Check the files you want to convert, pick a Playbook (or leave it on "Auto"), and hit "Convert & Send". Libertify generates the experience, swaps each original PDF for its converted version, and finishes sending the email automatically. Unchecked files are sent as-is, exactly as you attached them.

Playbooks are saved Libertify configurations that combine voice, brand kit, video length, language, tone, and other generation settings into a named preset. Create Playbooks once in your Libertify workspace — for example "Sales Deck", "Training Video", "Legal Briefing" — then pick one in the extension whenever you convert a document. The default "Auto" mode lets Libertify choose the best settings automatically for each PDF.

Yes. The Send-Intercept dialog lists every PDF in your email with a checkbox next to it. Check the files you want converted and uncheck the ones to leave untouched. Only the checked files are replaced with their Libertify video experiences; the others stay exactly as you attached them. On subsequent sends in the same compose, Libertify remembers your choices so you're never asked about the same file twice.

When you open Gmail with the extension installed, Libertify adds three entry points: (1) a "Send to Libertify" button next to each attachment area, (2) a Libertify button in the Gmail toolbar and reply/forward action row, and (3) the Send-Intercept modal that appears when you click Send on an email containing PDFs. Files are sent directly from Gmail to Libertify — no download needed. You'll see toast notifications during upload, and a red notification dot appears the moment your experience is ready.

Libertify notifies you in three ways simultaneously: a pulsing red dot appears on the Libertify icon inside Gmail, a Chrome desktop notification pops up (even if Gmail is minimized), and the experience status updates live in the extension popup. This is powered by WebSocket connections that automatically reconnect, so you're always up to date. Click any notification to open your finished experience instantly.

Click the Libertify icon on any web page to generate a PDF capture. The extension auto-scrolls the page to trigger lazy-loaded images and dynamic content, removes navigation bars, cookie banners, and floating overlays, then uses Chrome DevTools Protocol to produce a clean searchable PDF. You can optionally give it a custom project name. Then download it locally, upload to your Libertify workspace, or both.

Multi-Capture lets you queue multiple web pages as you browse, then consolidate them into a single professional PDF. Each capture can have custom notes and tags, and you can reorder them with drag & drop. The final PDF includes an auto-generated cover page, a table of contents with page numbers, and separator pages between each capture showing the source URL, date, and your notes. You can download the PDF, upload it to Libertify, or do both.

Libertify supports 130+ file types including PDF, DOCX, PPTX, XLSX, CSV, TXT, RTF, EPUB, HTML, KEY, PAGES, NUMBERS, ODT, ODP, ODS, JPG, PNG, SVG, HEIC, PSD, TIFF, WEBP, AI, and many more. Documents, presentations, spreadsheets, images, and ebooks are all supported. Individual files can be up to 50 MB. The Send-Intercept flow focuses on PDFs specifically, since those are the most common heavy attachments.

Libertify generates video experiences in 11 languages: English (US & UK), French, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, and Arabic. You can choose the language before each upload, or let your Playbook decide. The extension also auto-detects your browser language and pre-selects it for you.

Yes. If you belong to multiple organizations, you can switch between them in the extension settings. Each organization can have multiple workspaces, and you can select the target workspace for each upload — both from the popup and directly in the Gmail upload dialog. Your workspace selection is remembered between sessions.

Absolutely. The extension uses Google SSO with PKCE for authentication and encrypted token storage. PDF generation happens locally in your browser — your page content never passes through third-party servers. Libertify is compliant with GDPR, ISO 27001, and SOC 2 Type II. Your documents are never used for AI training.

Yes, a free Libertify account is required to upload and generate experiences. You can sign up at app.libertify.com using your Google account. A free trial is available so you can start creating video experiences immediately.
